-- Post From My iPhone with Blogpress
Here's the deal with Blog Press.
What it can do.
Post to multiple blogs across multiple platforms.
Save Drafts
Define Publish On ... Dates
Specify Photo Layout in Post eg Left , Center or Right.
You can upload several photos into one post.
Drawbacks.
The images uploaded as shown in this post are classed as a thumbnail and as such can vary between 8 - 40 kb files. So images are lower quality than both Typepad Free App and iBlogger.
The thumbs do link to the original uploaded file in a new window.
Any photos you upload are held at a Blogpress Public Album eg
http://blogpress.w18.net/photos/09/01/20/16.jpg
- and not actually uploaded into Typepad. So would be mindful of that.
The image in this post is 40kb.
The image in post below is 140kb and so has slightly better definition and colour depth.
If you take a photo within the Blogpress App and not pull from the library after you took a photo with the iphone camera app the quality is even worse.
If you add a blog to the app I can't see anyway to delete it out of the app again. Suspect you would have to delete app from phone and re-install.
So really if you need to post the odd photo to multiple blogs this app is useful. If you don't stick with iblogger.
Ref Categories not appearing in iBlogger. Graham managed to get iblogger to see categories for both Photocafe and his own blog after doing a refresh of the Typepad account within iblogger.
Let me know if any questions.
Anymore apps for me to pull apart....bring it on :-)
